Cairn de l'ile de Gavrinis - this tomb in the heart of the Morbihan Gulf dates from over 3000 years BC, and is a masterpiece of megalithic art. The cairn, which belongs to the departmental council, is built over a long pas-sage leading to a hurial chamber. The supports are richly carved with decorations: crooks, axes, curves and straight lines combined in a hundred different ways. Monoliths of Monténeuf - this prehistoric site is recognized as one of the most important in central Brittany. It covers 7 hectares and possesses 420 recorded monoliths and 42 standing menhirs. Workshops on subjects including making fire and using the throwing stick are organised.
