Situated on the banks of the river Loire, the villages Chęnehutte les Tuffeaux and Trčves Cunault, in 1974, united together to form a single municipality incorporating a heritage of considerable interest: the Romanesque 18th century church, the magnificent 15th century fortress, the Romanesque church of St. Aubin dating from the 11th century, as well as other buildings.
